Description

A truly unique opportunity to join the elite club of Feadship owners, the Gentleman’s yacht of the sea.

Rebel Lady was designed and built in 1966 by the C. Van Lent & Zonen who were one of the founding members of the First Export Association of Dutch Shipbuilders (Feadship). They were at the forefront of designing and building yachts for the American Market, and Lady Rebel represents all the design and build quality that they were famous for.

Rebel Lady (originally Jennifer D) was first shown to the public at the 1966 Earls Court Boat Show and it was there that she was sold to her first of two owners who kept her on the Hamble River. The current owner purchased her in 1999 and have enjoyed over 20 years of cruising in all parts of the UK and Europe.

In early 2020 the owner embarked on a full restoration of Lady Rebel to bring her both cosmically and mechanically up to date, works have included a full back to bare metal repaint of the hull, all machinery overhaled and currently the interior is being refinished.

The owner has now decided to look for a partner to share Rebel Lady with, age might not be on his side, but he would very much like to share this magnificent yacht with a like-minded person who will appreciate and enjoy it like he has in the 23 years.

We are proposing to sell 30 of the 64 share available in Rebel Lady at £300,000 with both owners sharing the running costs and at a time that the current owner is unable to use the yacht the new owner would inherit the other shares.

The owner is open to the discussion of selling a minimum of 20 shares.

Subject to terms.

Owners Comments

Over 23 years I have enjoyed the pride of owning this beautiful classic Feadship. Time on board is a world of its own and there is always a welcome. She is very solid, safe, easy to manoeuvre, and the stabilizers are very effective. Over the years we cruised from London to Paris and from Dartmouth to Brest and the Isles of Scilly, and of course, Devon and Cornwall. After this refit it would be good to lead the quiet life in Devon and Cornwall to Iron out any gremlins, and then be off further afield in good company, driven by enjoying life.
