Description
Fleur D’Ecosse is a 1998 Aquastar 45 which was designed jointly by Geoff Wilson and Ken Freivokh. This motoryacht can only be described as a modern gentleman’s yacht which is capable of extensive cruising and completely self-sufficient with its recent upgrades.
Fitted with twin Volvo Penta TAMD 63p engines, Fleur D’Ecosse can comfortably cruise at 16 knots and a maximum speed of 22 knots.
A very spacious interior allows sleeping for six guest in two double cabins and dinette conversation. Well-appointed heads in both the aft cabin and forward.
In current ownership (since 2017) this Aquastar 45 has been the subject of lots of upgrades and general maintenance which has bought her up to newer spec.
Now for sale as her owners have upgraded to a larger yacht.
Owners Comments
We’ve owned her since 2017 and slowly started renovating her ready for some long voyages.
All of the mechanical works have been completed and the last area to finish off is the cosmetic appearance inside and out.
The boat allows you to be self-sufficient with the use of the generator and inverters so we’ve spent many days away from it all without having to plug into shore power.
The real beauty of the Aquastar is her handling in any weather and the ease of berthing which I do singlehanded with the use of the remote control for the bow and stern thrusters.
