Hummer of Hamble is a very delightful Twister 28 which was built by built by Tylers Boat Co and fitted out by Upham Shipbuilders in Brixham in 1969, owned by the same family and has spent many happy years being enjoyed.
Hummer is an early GRP Twister (they were built from wood in the early years) and was professionally fitted out, which can be seen through the journey and finish onboard. Very well thought-out accommodation which will allows for 4/5 people to sleep in the salon and forward cabin. There is a well-appointed galley which is fitted with a gas burner, sink and plenty of storage. A cosy cockpit and high guard rails on deck allow for safe sailing with friends and family.
Hummer has been so well looked after and comes with lots of inventory, she is now for sale due to the owners being unable to handle her. Today Hummer finds herself in need of some much-needed love and we are looking for a new owner to take this wonderful 28ft cruising boat on.
The Twister Association has a wonderful following and currently has 150 active boats through the club, you will often find a Twister in a Harbour!

Hummer hasn't been used for a number of years and it should be noted that she is not a sail away package, the engine will need looking at/Servicing, seacocks servicing, the anti-foul is very thick and will be scraping back and her topsides could do with a repaint.
