This brand new Ed Burnett 35ft Gaff is a wonderful opportunity to bring a legacy to life. Designed by the late, great Ed Burnett, this 35ft Gaff Cutter hull and final drawings are looking for a new owner to bring them to life. Ed’s vision was clear when designing the lines of this classic gaff; to help preserve gaff cruising and racing, whilst maintaining classic lines and using the best modern shipwright expertise available.
This listing is for hull no 2, which is currently being stored at the Elephant Boat Yard, Bursledon. This traditional long keeled classic has been fitted with the main deck and basic interior and is now awaiting full completion. The price includes complete fit out excluding spars by the team at the Elephant who completed her sistership, Ivy Green, in 2003. Full drawings are included in the sale which allows us to complete the project.
Please note that pictures of Ivy Green have been provided to illustrate the possibilities open to you with this project.
We are excited to work with the new owner in building a wonderful gaff cutter and at this stage of the project you can even add your own touches.
A well thought out cabin, which allows for extensive cruising and crew accommodation for longer passages or racing weekends.
Hull no 2, when finished, will allow five berths in two cabins; an owner's double forward, two settee berths in the salon, and a single pilot berth above the outboard starboard side. The designs include a well appointed galley to starboard and ample amounts of storage
